C&J Energy Services (CJS) reported a contract to provide hydraulic fracturing services to an unidentified independent exploration and production company. The fleet has capacity of 32,000 hydraulic horsepower and the will be deployed to the Permian Basin.
C&J Energy Services said that Fleet 6 will start operations in November 2011, and will eventually operate as two separate independent fleets of 16,000 hydraulic horsepower each.
C&J Energy Services also has Fleets 7 and 8 on order and expects delivery of these units in 2012.
